Immigrants baffled by HealthCare.gov lapse

Immigrants are baffled by what looks like an obvious lapse on the government's health insurance website: There is no clear way to upload a copy of a green card.

That's the government identification document that shows an immigrant is a legal U.S. resident, entitled to benefits under the .

The organization Foundation Communities, which serves many immigrants in Austin, Texas, says the government website doesn't list an option to upload a green card. Yet, there is a way to upload other documents.

Reaching , especially Latinos and Asians, is a priority as the administration seeks to increase the number of people signed up.

An administration official says a fix is in the works.
