Rotor syndrome, also called Rotor type hyperbilirubinemia, is a rare, relatively benign autosomal recessive bilirubin disorder of unknown origin. It is a distinct disorder, yet similar to Dubin-Johnson syndrome — both diseases cause an increase in conjugated bilirubin.
