The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced the recall of Minnie's Bake Shop Chocolate Chunk Cookies because of the undeclared presence of nuts.

Dairy State Foods initiated the voluntary recall of the 7-ounce packages because they might contain undeclared Macadamia nuts, posing a health risk for people who have an allergy to nuts.

The recalled packages -- all distributed to Florida stores -- have a "Best if used by" date of March 2008 and UPC 400136148117.
