The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced an expanded nationwide recall of WholeSoy & Co. yogurt.

The FDA said the San Francisco manufacturer is voluntarily expanding its recall of WholeSoy & Co. blueberry yogurt to include mixed berry products because of undeclared dairy ingredients that might pose a threat to some people.

Being recalled are 71,508 cups of WholeSoy & Co. blueberry yogurt and 17,112 cups of the mixed berry yogurt. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to dairy products run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the recalled yogurt.

The recalled blueberry yogurt has a "best by" date of June 22 or June 29, with a UPC code of 664372600086.

The affected batches of mixed berry yogurt have a "best by" date of June 22 or June 29, with a UPC code of 664372600222.

Both products were sold nationwide in 6 oz. plastic yogurt cups. No other flavors of WholeSoy & Co. yogurts contain the unlisted dairy ingredient, the company said.
