India's Center for Science and Environment says it has found the presence of a "pesticide cocktail" in 11 brands of Coca-Cola and PepsiCo beverages.

The study's results come three years after the same brands were initially found to contain pesticides, The Press Trust of India reported Wednesday.

Researchers said they tested 57 samples of 11 soft drink brands produced by Coke and Pepsi at 25 manufacturing units across 12 Indian states. Scientists said they found all the soft drinks contained a "cocktail of 3-5 different pesticides" -- 24 times above the standards issued by the Bureau of Indian Standards, the news agency said.
