Video: How lasers can track the spread of cancer

The Biomedical Optics Research Group at Northeastern University, led by Professor Mark Niedre is working on an innovative solution to tracking the spread of cancer—lasers.

This technique would no longer require blood draws and could be adapted to other types of blood analysis. The hope is that this technology can be turned into a , to help with a faster diagnosis, and better prognosis when seeking treatment.
