Your autonomic nervous system controls your heart rate, blood pressure, digestion so when there is a problem—called dysautonomia—it can wreak havoc in your life.

As neurologist Matthew Imperioli explains, UConn Health is unique because it has an autonomic reflex lab that tests specifically for dysautonomia. The painless, non-invasive tests help lead to a prompt, accurate diagnosis and treatment plan.
